Lusagyugh is a village in Armenia’s Armavir region. The village is situated 9km from the regional center Edjmiadzin and 30km away from capital Yerevan. The population of the village is 1200. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture and specifically cattle breeding.

The village has a number of problems, among which was the non satisfactory condition of the local school, which has not been refurnished for over two decades. The school currently has 130 students and a teacher staff of 30.

Within the Hayastan All Armenian Fund new initiative, ten classrooms of Lusaghyugh community school were fully refurnished. The new furniture included: desks and chairs for the students, desks for teachers, wardrobes, blackboards, hangers and other necessary items to improve the overall conditions of the schooling process.
