Around 200 hectares of orchards in Martuni and Askeran regions will become arable thanks to the 13 deep-water wells drilled in the regions. Currently, pump-stations are being constructed. The project, which intends to make Artsakh more fruitful, started in 2017 with the Fund’s worldwide fundraising. Currently, only 7 percent of the existing agricultural lands are cultivated in Artsakh. The project will essentially increase the production.
