42 applications received for the position of Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund

Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is pleased to announce that at the closing for applications to the position of Executive Director, at midnight on Friday August 31, it has received 42 filings from seven different countries (Armenia, France, Great Britain, Lebanon, Russia Switzerland and Unites States). Contenders are generally highly qualified individuals. Their high number is a clear sign of the huge interest in filling this position.

Applications will be carefully examined. The selection jury will convene on Monday September 10, 2018 in Yerevan. It is composed of the representatives of the Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh, of the Prime minister of Armenia, Board of Trustees’ member Albert Boghossian, Switzerland, and acting Executive Director Bedros Terzian, France, who also presides the jury. After careful examination and deliberation, the jury will transmit its recommendations to the President of the Republic of Armenia, President of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Mr. Armen Sarkissian who will thereafter submit the selected candidate to the Board of Trustees for approval.

The new Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will then be nominated and take office.

He will have the task of reforming and further strengthening this unique organization that has tremendously contributed to the socio-economic development of Armenia and Artsakh in the past 26 years.

Since its inception in 1992, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has implemented over 1,100 major projects in Armenia and Artsakh and thousands of other undertakings with a total value of more than US $350 million. Its Board of Trustees is composed of the highest political and religious authorities of Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora, as well as independent individuals holding leading positions in their respective domains all over the world.
