In Iran an artist and benefactor of the Fund Sedrak Nazaryan was honored

The evening of honoring the well-known artist, benefactor of the Fund Sedrak Nazaryan was held at the Embassy of Armenia in Iran. The Iranian-Armenian artist, restorer has donated 120,000 USD to Hayastan All-Armenian Fund at the Fund’s Telethon this year.

Ambassador of Armenia to Iran handed Sedrak Nazaryan a certificate of appreciation of the Fund’s Iranian affiliate. Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan emphasized Sedrak Nazaryan's exemplary patriotic, modest and noble posture. The philanthropist thanked for the meeting and noted that he simply fulfilled his soul debt and did not expect a special attitude or honor to his person. The representative of the Fund in Iran Arin Karimyan also expressed his gratitude to the renowned painter.

Artist Sedrak Nazaryan is a reputable name in Iran as a specialist in renovation of old museums and valuable paintings with 40-year experience. He has been teaching at Tehran University's Architecture Department for about 35 years. In recent years, Sedrak Nazaryan has been fully devoted to the renovation of museum paintings. He has carried out the recycling of frescoes of St. Savior Monastery in New Jugha.
