Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s delegation pays a five-day visit to Nagorno-Karabakh projectsThe Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will convene its 19th annual meeting on May 14, 2010. Board members, local committee representatives and Fund donors have arrived in Yerevan to participate in it.
A five-day site visit to the Fund’s Nagorno-Karabakh projects will precede the board meeting. The delegation will visit the following projects:
Goris Cardiological hospital (sponsored by the Fund’s France and Lebanon local committees),
Gishi school (sponsored through Telethon 2008, co financed by Vardanyan family foundation and NKR Government),
Chartar village school (sponsored by the Fund’s France local committee and NKR Government),
Stepanakert school N 11 (sponsored by the Fund’s Western Region local committee),
Shushi schools after Abovyan and Muratsan, three main streets, potable water pipeline, city library and culture Center in Shushi.
The official opening ceremonies of Spitakashen community school (sponsored by the Fund’s Toronto local committee) and Sos village drinking water pipeline (sponsored by the Fund’s France local committee) are on the agenda.
The delegation will also visit St.Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi, as well as participate in celebrations of the Shushi Liberation Day.
