Bako Sahakyan, President of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh: congratulations on the Hayastan Fund 25th anniversary
On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of Artsakh and myself, I warmly congratulate the entire Armenian nation, and all members, benefactors, and donors of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, on the occasion of the Fund’s 25th anniversary.

The idea of establishing the Fund was born at a pivotal juncture in Armenian history. The devastating earthquake of 1988, the economic blockade of Armenia, and the war that was forced on us by our enemy had resulted in an extremely dire situation for the two newly-independent Armenian republics. Given these circumstances, it was crucial to create a pan-national structure that could bring the worldwide Armenian community together and help solve core issues facing our homeland.

With the support of its members and the Armenian people as a whole, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has been accomplishing a profoundly patriotic mission ever since its founding, greatly contributing to the growth, prosperity, and strengthening of Mother Armenia and Artsakh. Thanks to the Fund, numerous projects of strategic importance have been made possible. They include the construction and renovation of roads, water pipelines, hospitals, homes, schools, and cultural institutions, as well as the rebuilding and development of war-ravaged communities.

The initiation and implementation of such vital projects must be ongoing, for the benefit of the well-being of our people, the further development of our homeland, and the continued strength of the unity between Armenia, Artsakh, and the diaspora.
